Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries

These crispy fries are rich in Vitamin A and are the perfect accompaniment to tangy main dishes like barbecue.

Ingredients

    • 1 lb. (500 g) (1-2, depending on size) sweet potatoes, skin on
    • 1 tbsp (5 mL) vegetable oil
    • ½ tsp (2 mL) salt, divided

Directions

  1. Slice the sweet potatoes lengthwise into ¼-inch thick fries.
  2. In a medium bowl, toss the fries with oil and ¼ tsp (1 mL) of the salt.
  3. Set the Deluxe Air Fryer & Oven to Heat & Crisp. Adjust the temperature to 375°F (190°C) with high fan and set the time to 18 minutes.
  4. Place the potatoes in a single layer on an Air Fryer Rack. When the display says, “Add Food,” place the rack in the oven. Press start. Rotate the pan halfway through cooking.
  5. Sprinkle with the remaining salt.
